Randomness

SO I woke up this morning with a bunch of random thoughts all jumbled up and dancing about in my head. And because little random thoughts keep me awake at weird hours of the night I thought I'd spit them out..So here goes..

a. Loving and totally Inspired by the David Stark holiday accessory collection at West Elm. He uses vintage books on recycled paper and turns them into garlands, little trees, decorative flowers etc. I am a sucker for anything created with vintage book pages. I picked up these little goodies from his line..

b. Enjoyed my Junior League committee's first event yesterday where we read with preschoolers. The weather was fantastic. Such a beautiful morning and start to the day.

c. need to order some new Christmas stockings. Really liking these burlap stockings from Ballard Designs. Simple and monogrammable.

d. Excited about the baby shower that I'm helping to host this weekend. And yes..it's raining babies around here. :) I love it. The inspiration is taken from this lovely shower.

and I am SO excited about my party favor idea. I'll be sure to share soon.

e. I want to make one of these. Told you.. I'm obsessed with book pages.

f. Also want to paint the wall behind my desk with chalkboard paint.

Oh..if only there were more hours in the day. Please tell me I'm not the only one who lies awake in bed at night dreaming of all the things I want/need to do.
